Anisic Alcohol

Anisyl alcohol, the scientific name for p-methoxybenzyl alcohol, is a chemical product used as a fragrance. It is a colorless or light yellow solid at room temperature, and a colorless to light yellow liquid below room temperature. It is easy to be oxidized in the exposed air, and has the aroma of anise.
